i was just on a site timeshare pulse, looking up westin ts and westin fort lauderdale popped up. it has the picture of the westin fort lauderdale hotel but the individual sales are for 2 br with kitchen, some said l/o and can be used 3 times a year. it sounds like it could be fractional but the prices were in the $4900 range. does anyone know anything about this? it also says can be traded in rci.

Starwood does own some Westin branded timeshares that aren't in the SVN.

Westin Ft Lauderdale is just a standard /boring business Hotel right on a I-95 exit and has no timeshares that I know of.

At the price range you are referring, maybe it is a typo & probably it is a Weston timeshare !

We have stayed in that hotel many times since it is adjacent to our Grandma's retirement home. It is a decent business hotel and it is not a timeshare.

Just because the ad had a picture of this Hotel does not make it more accurate either.
