Went to Westgate Branson woods said no 15 times. Told them I had no money they used the 150 they was gonna give me and the guy told me he would loan me 140 cause he liked me. 10000 dollar loan 2 bedroom condo ever other year can I recind it help I'm a old man not to savvy

Yes, rescind. There are instructions in your paperwork. Get a receipt at the post office that proves when you mailed the letter. You only have a few days.

Westgate hides the rescission instructions on a CD in some kind of pocket in the binder you were given (I have no personal experience with this, but if you can't find the rescission instructions, that may be where to look).

Yes, you should absolutely rescind, quickly!! (Missouri is a 5 day recession law state)

Find the address in your paperwork (if they gave it to you electronically check the thumb drive or email link or whatever for your contract) and get a letter in the mail ASAP! Make sure you send it registered mail so you have proof.

You really have no need to hope for the best. As long as you followed the rescission instructions, and got it postmarked by the deadline, even a scammy timeshare company like Westgate will process your rescission according to the law. However, one word of warning as Westgate may call you to try and “sweeten the offer” to keep you from rescinding. Do not answer or return their call, even if they tell you that you must speak to them before you can rescind. That would be a lie to try and save their commission.

You said that they wanted to use the $150 presentation gift plus the salesperson’s loan of $130? What exactly would $280 do for you? I believe the down payment is 10% of the purchase price. This is all so weird.

Ok 10000 dollar 2 condos every other year the full pay off 26000 1000 dollar ever other year maintenance

Just curious as to what borrowing $130 from the salesperson was going to accomplish.

I kinda wonder how Wastegate (or the salesweasel) will handle the $130 'loan' after the rescission. (just a guess) the OP will send $130 to the salesweasel. Maybe we'll find out in a month or so.
