Website for RCI HAS FEES AND Cost Now Listed

I see the TPU's. What resort are you seeing that doesn't list TPU's?

Normally I would see the name of the resort, the date range, and the range of TPU’s required. Now I can’t see the TPU requirements, and I have to click on the resort to see them.

They used to be listed on that first page with all the resorts. I'd ignore the ones that were too high, and zero in on the ones that were within the range I was willing to spend. Now I have to click in to see the TPUs.

I see what you mean. You search by area first, then have to choose a specific resort from a list.

I search for a specific resort, like Hilton SeaWorld, then I can see the costs as I scan down the list of dates.

The way resorts are listed in Wyndham is so different from RCI weeks and points. BUT Wyndham doesn't get discounts for much of the inventory, while weeks and points get discounted inventory. It's really quite strange that Wyndham owners have to pay full points for something within 30 days, and weeks will be reduced by half TPU's (or another significant discount), and points will be 7,500 ($82 cost for me).

For example, there are some Hilton SeaWorld that are 165,000 Wyndham points + exchange fee (and resort fees). That is the regular price, not discounted, but they are close to check-in date. That same week might be 9 TPU's. 9 TPU's is about $450 my cost, 165,000 points is about $950 in my cost.

One shocking exchange that recently came available was 25,000 RCI Points for November, 7 nights, Wyndham Avon, 2 bedroom units, all presidential. It was somewhat discounted in Wyndham's RCI portal, but not enough to come anywhere near my cost in RCI Points.

Yea, the best part for me about getting RCI Points is the discounts that just don't show up in the corporate accounts. This difference makes a huge difference IMHO about the viability of RCI Exchanges (though I still think $299 exchange fee is really pushing it).

EDIT: I also dislike the not having the point cost on the first page - I guess I can work around that by adding yet another filter, but sometimes I also like to just get a feel for how many points various locations might be.

I remember often, while I am searching and having to click, click, click, click through the various stages of the search (ie: USA>Rocky Mountain>Colorado>Breckenridge) The Jetson's episode where Jane's fingers get twisted from pushing so many buttons. It was before anyone knew what carpal tunnel was. She had to do finger exercises to get her fingers limber again.
