Website errors [Incorrect Club Points Values for Reservation Period]

Trying to make a reservation. The week I wanted is 5725 points. It says that...However when I go to check out it tells me it need 6870 points. I even went backed and looked at each day. It doesn't add up to the 6820. So I tell it to go ahead and apply 6820 points. Then I get message something about not having enough MVC trust points...I had this similar program two weeks ago. It was during the day so I called and the guys said the website has been acting up. He booked it for me using my points and 5725. Anyone else experiencing that..now I guess I am stuck until tomorrow...and hoping the reservation will still be available..

I also noticed that the week I am trying to get is the last week of my eligible time period (12 months). If I go back two week earlier it seems to work fine like it should. It just that last week.

I tried different computers, browsers also.

Well I called this morning and got the reservation for 5725 which was the correct number. It still bothers me this problem. After I posted last night I kept trying all sort of things. Here is what I discovered. It only did this when trying to reserve at the week exactly at 12 months out (my level). Any 7 days in that week had this problem. Also it did this at other resorts I tried. If I tried the week before it was fine and I could get that reservation for the correct amount of points. Anytime before the 12 months week it worked properly. The incorrect point amount I kept getting was 6870 exactly 20% more. However it even wouldn't let me apply the extra points needed to reserve that. I would get a message saying I didn't have 5725 MVCD exchange/trust points. I dont know if this is the cause but my points using were MVCD transferred points. The rep when I called had no idea what the problem was. I was just glad to get my reservation. Also I was please that they answered the call at about 6:10 PST am. That wait time was faster than when I normally have called later in the day. I wrote up my problem and sent in to Marriott. I wonder if I will hear from them? Anyone else have this happen?
 
That is really weird. I have never experienced this. The really odd thing is that the only time the 20% premium applies, is if an Owner benefit level person places a 7+ night ressy at 13 months out. You were experiencing it at 12 months....very odd. What ownership level are you? Will be interesting to hear reasoning/fix, if they ever do get back to you.

I would suspect it's the transferred points issue. To clarify, you were looking for a check in for 7 nights for arrival between 7/24 & 7/30 of 2024?
 
Experiencing (different) website errors as well. Since last Saturday, when we log into our owner account and try to look at our reservation history we get an error message - Unable To Load Reservation History. We get the same error whether we try to look at our upcoming reservation, past reservations, or cancelled reservations. I've emailed Owner Services, telephoned Owner Services, and chatted with Owner Services - still no fix as of today. :crash:
 
I would suspect it's the transferred points issue. To clarify, you were looking for a check in for 7 nights for arrival between 7/24 & 7/30 of 2024?
Yes it was starting on July 29th 2024 and for 7 days. I ended up again changing the reservations because I was able to get 2 more additional nights which is what I originally wanted. They weren't available when I first made the reservation. This time I had to call because I was cancelling and booking a new reservation. When I did my search prior to calling I again got the same message. When I spoke with the rep he also got the same problem. It seemed to me that he uses my account when he does the search because he said he will use another system after he got the inflated costs. When he used the other system he got the correct information. Not sure what they exactly do when they search. He had no clue what was going on with mine but he said lots of people are having problems since they updated the website. He said he tells all customers to just call. The good news is when I called at 6am pst and the other time both times I got through within 10 minutes at 6am and immediately the second time. I think I am good for a while now...thanks for all your comments.

I'm glad you got it taken care of. It would have been frustrating if you'd missed the reservation due to this issue.

Received the below from Owner Services this morning. Just tried to access my account. Nope. Still the same Error - Unable to get reservation history. :wall:
