Will be visiting there in a few weeks. Any suggestions as to buildings. We prefer a view of the mountains or golf course? Thanks.

We just got back. We were in building 1, ground floor. Didn't think we would like it, but was actually very convenient. Had a golf course view, although a little obscured by the plantings, so would think a second floor might be more to your liking. In Feb we were at WDW and were in bld 5. It was a short walk to the main building and pool area, but there are frequent golf cart shuttles driving by, and they always ask if you want a ride.

We were at the resort in October and stayed in building #4 on the 3rd floor. I would recommend building #4, 5 or 6 for mountain views. There is a pool in back of #4, but not much noise from the pool, and #4 has good views of the mountains. This cluster of buildings is a short 5 minute walk to the clubhouse; or, you could take the free shuttle to get around the resort. You can get a current map of the resort, with building locations, on mystarcentral.

The views are very similar from all buildings. I always request an upper floor but unlike other resorts I really don't care which building I'm in.
