water intrusion assessment

I'm another owner at the point at poipu who's upset about the outrageous water damage assessment on my yearly maintenance fee. Has anyone researched legal action? Has an injunction against the fee been considered? The fact that three of the five AOAO board members are also employees of Diamond Resorts seems to me to be a clear conflict of interest. Has anyone looked into legal action based on a failure to disclose the water intrusion damage?

This is a Diamond Resrots issue that you've posted in the Hilton Grand Vacations Section. As mentioned, this has been discussed in length in the Hawaii section in this thread http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156651
