This story appeared on TUG yesterday and then disappeared. Was it taken down because it was thought to be fake? It’s appearing on numerous well established news sources. I was not the original poster.

(deleted articles of a political and socially contentious nature.)

Probably removed because the word "church" was used, just speculation.
Cannot use that word in polite society.

I'm thinking another word was used in the post title that cannot be mentioned in polite society ;)

I only glanced over the responses and had intended to come back and read the responses later. I'm pretty sure several of the responses questioned the credibility of the story.

What I'm not clear about is what part of the story was being questioned. Was it the part that a mother would purposely take her child to a party to catch the Coronavirus. I know locally some moms were looking for coronavirus parties back in March and April. They likened it to taking their kids to a sleepover so that they could catch the measles. I'm still haunted by that post.

I was one who questioned if the story was fake in the now deleted post (I wasn’t the OP) because all I could find were unknown news publications. Since then it has been picked up by many mainstream news outlets.

I found the Medical Examiner report that all these news stories are referring to. It states that the parents were a nurse and physician assistant. This is something that they will have to live with the rest of their lives.
