Waiohai now 98% sold & new points incentives

My salesman emailed me and stated that Waiohai is now 98% sold out. He also stated that Kauai Beach Club has only 152 weeks available to sell.

Marriott is now offering 200,000 points incentive for a 1 week purchase + the normal 40,000 self referral points.

Do you happen to know the price for EOY? We're considering purchasing an EOY, but aren't scheduled to go back to Kauai until Feb 2010.

Wow...that means they only have 248 units left to sell. That should probably only take 2 or more years in today's market at full boat prices...

IMHO, targeting single week owners looking to add that second week, is their only hope.

I thought KBC had been sold out for years! Did ROFR add that many units back into their inventory?

As of April 16, 2008 they were

Oceanview $28,080
Islandview $23,940

I *think* there was a 100,000 point incentive for the Oceanview.

And if it helps, I picked up a resale EOY Oceanview a couple months ago for $12,100.

Sorry I don't have anything more recent.

I was at KBC last july and they didn't have any EOY for sale.
