It depends. If you have family and particularly kids that are 12 and under, you can't beat the super pool. We don't own HGVC and I've considered buying many, many times just for Kingsland.Which is a better resort to stay at The Bay Club or Kings Land?

The units at the Bay Club are larger and it's much more quiet. I think an adult couple would likely enjoy Bay Club more. The units are also closer to shopping and the beach (not a great beach, but I think it's fine).
Yes, The bay Club is quite close the the Hilton hotel, some units are essentially across the street from the hotel. The other other HGV resort are slightly farther but may be walkable depending on your energy level. We usually drive or take the free shuttle from Kings Land, but plenty of people on this board walk from Kings Land. All of the property's are spread out, so it may also depend on which building your assigned, and where at the hotel you are headed. for the Hotel, you could easily spend 20 or more minutes walking from one part to another. Is the Hilton Resort property within walking distance from Bay Club. Just interested in going to see it as it has been many years since last there.
Yes, but they book faster and are much smaller than BCphase 2 and some phase 3 are the same point value as BC.
Beach? I didn't think there were any sandy beaches? Just looks like a bunch of lava rocks next to the water. It depends. If you have family and particularly kids that are 12 and under, you can't beat the super pool. We don't own HGVC and I've considered buying many, many times just for Kingsland.

For a sandy beach you will need to drive. There’s one just a couple minutes away… parking adjacent to the Kings/Queens shops.Beach? I didn't think there were any sandy beaches? Just looks like a bunch of lava rocks next to the water.

The only two advantages I am aware of:what is the advantage of BC over Kohala?
what is the advantage of BC over Kohala?
Mauna Lani, the next resort north has a black sand beach with decent snorkeling.
Hualalai resort to the south has excellent snorkeling with sandy beach, Kikaua Point.
The better beaches on the Big Island are the ones you have to drive to. Hapuna Beach, or the beach at the Mauna Kea.Nice but you have to drive to both of them. Correct? Looks like you can at least walk from the Marriott to the beach. I'm spoiled when I go to Marriott at Ko Olina and Waiohai in they have nice beaches right next to the properties.

I can see that. Seems like the Big Island is more laid back like Kauai. Although the scenery is very different between the two of them.True, but you need a car anyway on BI. The A-Bay beach has no snorkeling, which is what I go to the beach for. The sand is not that great at A-Bay, lots of pulverized lava mixed in, it has a gray color. A-Bay is good to see turtles sunning on the beach south of Lava Lava.
We don't mind the drive.
Yeah, I was referring to the beach near A bay...we've gone at least once every time we go to Waikoloa. It isn't great, but we have fun, and we find it easier than going to Hapuna.Beach? I didn't think there were any sandy beaches? Just looks like a bunch of lava rocks next to the water.
