Do both Kingsland and Waikola beach resort entitle their guests to usage of the Hilton Hotel pools etc...?

I've stayed at all 3 timeshare properties and the only one with restrictions was Bay Club. So unless something's changed, you should have hotel pool access at either of those two.

Yes. Both HGVC Waikoloa and HGVC Kings' Land include access to the Hilton Hotel amenities.
At check-in, you will receive passes to the Hilton Hotel. Show those passes at the hotel pool area and you will get towels there. Show the pass at the valet on the way out, and your parking ticket will be validated, and you'll get free parking.

FREE PARKING at the hilton hotel? Wow I had no idea.

Kingsland Development

I was wondering if they have done anything on the next stage of building across the street from the current units. I was there a couple of years ago and they were doing some earth movement over there.

What are the restrictions at the Bay Club?

Reported by a friend: "The Hilton Pools are $150 for three days use, per person...
We didn't do it, but spent a lot of time at the Hilton..."

I was at kings land in oct(2011) and they are building the new units across the street. I was told that the points will be the same as the other resorts..7000 for 2br etc. not the 12000 points....

I believe it is $150 for three days, per FAMILY (up to 4)

Don't ask don't tell

I have spent 15 years of vacations going from the Bay Club to the Hilton Village to ride the train, the small boats, and swim in their lagoon. As long as you don't carry a striped pool towel from the Bay Club, no asks and I don't tell. Personally, there is too much to do on the Big Island and too many beach and snorkel locations to spend more than a day swimming at Hilton Village.

We just came back from staying at the Bay Club which I chose over the other properties based on the everyone's rave reviews of the large units. I figured space was more important for us, with older kids, that the pools since we would probably not spend that much time at the resort. It's true, the apartments, and that is what they are, are huge and beautifully decorated. But I was disappointed that the resort is nowhere near the ocean. It doesn't feel like Hawaii at all, more like Arizona.
We ended up spending a late afternoon at the pools at the Waikoloa Village and we paid $80 for that, which is the daily rate.

For Kingsland, how does it work at registration? We might be coming in at 2 different times to a 2 BR (6 persons). If I check in 1st, do they just ask how many in my room and issue bands for everyone the week? Do we have a different band for the Kingsland pool? Lastly, are the Kingsland room keys good for charging over at the Hilton? thanks, Elaine

Kingsland

We were at Kingsland in July. They do not issue bands, only paper cards you carry around to show you are a guest. You can use the cards at both Kingsland and Hilton Waikoloa to charge to your room, and it gets you free parking at the Hilton Hotel. During registration, the only thing you'll need for the second couple is the vehicle license plate for parking.

The first day we went to check out pool towels at KL, they gave us wristbands but we immediately took them off. From that day forward, we just traded our towels in whenever we wanted fresh ones and I was never asked to show my room key or a wristband. I never saw an employee patrolling the pool looking for wristbands and even saw people with their store bought beach towels instead of the standard striped ones that are issued.
