All Clad finally has waffle makers that use removable plates. The All Gourmet Digital and Manual models use removable plates. They use thicker cooking plates than the Cuisinart Breakfast Maker. They do not make waffles and pancakes like the Cuisinart Breakfast Maker but they do cook more evenly and they are built like a tank.
