I don't understand this statementHow can Starwood resorts be too high quality to see other resorts in Europe? Wouldn't it be the case that the higher the quality your resort, the more you can see- everywhere?
If I purcahsed a 1bedroom premium platinum (1-21, 50-52) at SDO, is that going to generally have enough quality rating to let me see European properties?
With my Chrstie Lodge I can typically see many more available weeks when I do a search on II than I can see with one of my Marriott weeks. This is a result of the II filtering system.
Starting in 2008 with the new resort classifications, I can no longer see as many 5 Star (gold) resorts, however, with my CL. This is in spite of the fact that II still gives me an AC for my CL week when I deposit.
Filtering example: Current availability in Great Britain -
With Christie Lodge I see 19 resorts available (4 silver and gold).
With Waiohai I see 12 resorts available (all silver and gold).
