We're going to book a unit for October. I have 2 teenage daughters, my husband and myself. We are considering staying at Vistana Villages or HGVC. Besides a nice unit, we are looking for a very nice heated pool. I've read the reviews. Does anyone have an opinion that they would like to share on which is nicer? Thanks!

I have only stayed at Vistana Villages. This is a really beautiful resort. There are now 3 pools, yes they are heated. We have been there twice, and we bought a timeshare there on our second visit. My two sons age 9 and 12, love the two arcades complete with pool tables.

Vistana Village questions - Can you tell what what the new pool is like? We visited there last year and we only saw 2 pools. We are thinking of staying there for 4 nights with a timeshare presentation this year. Do you know if the basketball courts were open? Do you know if there are any pictures posted in this site?

We were at Vistana Villages in Nov. The basketball area was open, my sons took advantage of that! The new third pool, had just opened when we were there. It is located in the new section of the resort. Also, there is a second arcade in that area, with pool tables, my sons loved it. Also, a second workout area is there, with state of art equipment. After experiencing the new phase, we couldn't resist buying. If you are going on a presentation, be careful, you are going to fall in love with the resort. Sue

both are great. i think I liked HGVC better, and you can actually walk to sea world from it. at the time, free shuttle to sea world or Universl studios
