Vistana Reservations no longer on Marriott.com?

we were supposed to move over from Vistana bookings over to Marriot?

Funny. Both of my weeks are on Marriott AND on Vistana. However, Marriott split the lockoff into 2 separate confirmation numbers for each reservation: a one bedroom and a studio, each with different confirmation numbers. The Vistana reservation is correctly displayed as a 2-bedroom lockoff but the confirmation numbers are different from Marriott's. I was very worried that we would be staying with our relatives in separate buildings so I called Vistana and was told they are aware of this "glitch" and I should just use the Vistana information. She said I could call the hotel directly if I wanted to verify everything.

I should say that I made my original reservation on Vistana.

Yes, I noticed the same thing with our upcoming (1/6) Lagunamar stay having disappeared as well. I tried adding it back with the Vistana confirmation number but that didn't work. Then I called Marriott and they said they couldn't add timeshare reservations. Instead, they connected me to Marriott Vacation Club but they only tried to sell me a promotional stay. We are supposed to get credit with Marriott for timeshare stays, but I'm not sure how that is going to work if the stay doesn't even show up on the Marriott site.
Add your MR number when you checkin at the resort, if it isn't on there already.

Each of my Christmas and New Year reservations at WKORVN reappeared on the Marriott website about 2 days before their check in dates and remained during the stay. Haven't yet gotten any credit for them, but it's still early.

My upcoming Lagunamar reservations did show on Marriott’s hotel site but have since shown up as “cancelled.” However, they show up as upcoming on the Vistana site which is most important. Weird.

Marriott has given me a 7-night credit for the Christmas week, nothing yet for the 2nd week.

Our upcoming WKORVN 2 bdrm Of home reservations from Vistana shows up as a 1 bedroom and studio on Marriott. com. What is curious is that they have $ amounts associated with them. Specifically the 1 bedroom says $2100 and the Studio is several hundred $.

Is this normal? or will this get hung up at the front desk?

My weeks showed up as a single reservation for a 2 bedroom, don't remember seeing any kind of $ value anywhere. But who knows what's normal these days.

If the reservation is showing correctly on the Vistana website, I would not worry about it.

I have three villa stays booked - one for us at WKORV in addition to two stays at Marriott hotel properties, the other two for various children at SVV and SBP. The ones for the kids are showing up, our WKORV is not. The hotel stays are there too. I'm 99.9% sure the WKORV stay was there at some point recently though, but it's disappeared. It does show on the VSE Dashboard.

With the separation of Hotel and Timeshare divisions how long do you think you are going to be getting credit for timeshare nights on the hotel side of things. I think the writing has to be on the wall eventually.

Marriott Vacation Club has been separate for years and they still get elite night credit. It was recently added for Vistana stays. I don't expect it to go away anytime soon, if at all.

But what is the incentive for Marriott Hotels if the TS and Hotel industries are completely separate companies?

Marriott Rewards (err, now BONVoY) earns income from points and nights posted to a members account. The properties literally pay the rewards program for the benefits it gives to people who stay at the properties. So it is income for Marriott International.

I didn't even know Vistana stays could be added to one's Marriott account. How does one do this? (Not that it will necessarily work. But, I have several Vistana ownerships, so maybe something will show up.)

...
I miss Starwood Preferred Guest. I really, really miss them. Having access to all of the new properties is nice, but - when it comes to customer service - Marriott buying Starwood is like if K-Mart bought Nordstrom. Sigh.
+1. This is what a lot of people were afraid would happen.

Here's how I'm expressing my frustrations. I was already writing a Star Wars parody. Now, I've put in a new part. After the Evil Empire conquers the Republic, everyone in the galaxy is upset -- the Starward Preferred Guest program has ended, and they can no longer earn valuable Starward Points on their Republican Express cards.

My stays still appear on the apps and websites. My 2 bedroom stays show as 2 reservations, a studio and a 1 bedroom even though they are not locked off. My 1 bedroom stay shows as a 1 bedroom.

The description also includes the phrase, owner block.
