Vistana rep refused to add a guest name for 10/5 on SBR deeded week, sent me a form to fill out.

So - I've rented my SDO this year and have fallen a bit behind the curve on this as I generally rent only every other year or so (use II otherwise). I've changed the guest name via the Vistana dashboard just as I have in the past.

Is there a "best practices" way to check that whatever back-office voodoo they do is done correctly? Just phone the front desk and ask them or something else?
 
Do you have the 8-digit Marriott reservation number? When you FIRST made the reservation, this was the first confirmation they emailed to you.

Vistana should have the Marriott number on the reservation, as well as the Vistana number. Two reservation #'s is ridiculous to start, and then to have to keep track of both numbers and then to be responsible to make sure both reservations have the correct information for the guest, it's way too much brain damage.

Yes. There's an 8 digit confirmation that goes 830xxxxx in the original email from them, as well as on the one I just got from changing it in my owner dashboard.

Sorry, I re-read and my post wasn't clear. My original email from 12 months before booking (last March) has an 8 digit confirmation.

I received a new email today with my guests name on it, that one has a 6 digit confirmation.
