Vistana MFs - missing abound club fee

I agree. I don't know how Marriott Vacations can continue to mess this up this bad. It seems like it is something different every year. It also doesn't seem like they are actively trying to fix it, though we may know more come December 5th. But I doubt it.

Maybe this is all part of the $100 million “modernization” that the company is undergoing?

I asked my quite helpful customer service rep how many owners call trying to pay more money. She got a laugh out of that one.

I can imagine they are getting many customer service calls. Today I was told that the bill will go out separately, they are doing computer upgrades. If you don't receive an additional billing by mid December, call customer service. Club fees aren't due until the end of January. I own units at WKORVN and the club fees were always included in the maintenance fee billing....except this year.

Try logging in to Vistana and going to https://www.vistana.com/owners-association and then look for a box labeled 'Club Dues' and click the "VIEW/PAY CLUB DUES' link. That's where I found and paid mine.

I don;t have a pay club dues link on mine. I even tried to call and email but no response yet (8 days later).. so odd that it is hard to pay them more money!

So after several phone calls regarding this it was escalated and the supervisor in Owners Resolution said the finance dept cant figure out why it happened but they said they cant bill for it once maintenence bill generated. They sent email saying due to this, we just won't be billed a club dues this year. What a mess, I dont feel comfortable with that answer being accurate at all.

I said I wasn't comfortable as I want to make sure they don't think we wanted to opt out of abound. She said I don't know what to tell you, just be glad you dont have to pay the fee and it changes nothing on our acct.

I suspect they will truly figure out the issue and just send out a new bill for it later some time like they did for the Hawaii tax on the Club Dues last year (or was it the previous year?)

Here I'm in the same boat. I'm monitoring this thread to see how to resolve.
