I didn't think there was a "b" anymore with Hilton Club?
So you can only book Elara bHC 9 months in advance? How do owners get booking preference? Does it give an owner resort reservation window preference like NYC?

Basically, they changed and many of us here didn't, for consistency across threads and time.Hilton changed their nomenclature but I still use bHC to differentiate from HGV and HVC. And on the HGV website/app bHC points are still called "By Hilton Club Points".
thank you - if my sister goes staying in our room on a guest cert, and isn't an owner, will she be eligible (if same offer as last year)? We attended F1. Had a great time. We got lost at times with track diversions and many staffers were also confused because the town is reconfigured but overall we got where we needed to go. F1 directional app was frozen at times. Will be fixed in future as they work out the kinks. Less riffraff in blocks off the strip so felt safe.
Room had great view of Harmon although we bought grandstands one night and watched the final race at a non-HGVC complimentary lounge. It was great to know we had this room view as a backup and watched the first night practice at 2am.
HGVC pool F1 viewing party was fun. HGVC put on a class act on this event. Great food - e.g. tender tri-tip, beef and chicken skewers. Full open bar with good brands open all night. Food for dinner and then another round at 9:30 - midnight.
Former Creed singer was good but a bit somber for a crowd that was craving party music and dancing. Loved Joey Fatone & Friends. AJ from Back Street Boys also was there. Really enjoyed concert hearing hits from NSync and boy bands. Also great DJs and dancing.
We had a preso. Low pressure. Rep nice but told some half-truths which we ignored. Out in 50 minutes. Got to see the new Elara bHCs. VERY NICE but pricey given none of our deeds can be applied toward Elara. Apparently Elara only begets Elara.
last year, it started high but then dropped as it got closer to race time....@calCalTraveler
The HGVC landing page now shows an F1 package for $3500 pp. Is this what you bought last year (now repriced, subject to a teensy bit of inflation)? Or did you buy something different?
They are desperate to sell tickets in general for the race, and I would seriously consider making a check of Sam's Club or Costco in Vegas during September/October since I've heard that Austin had discounted tickets at warehouse clubs in the past.Just received first F1 email promo for 2024. Only $3500/pp for the clubhouse. No Elara Terrace Party tickets yet. That's what we bought. We watched the race elsewhere.

I think so. We were on the Elara pool terrace.(Bands different this year.) After dinner and concerts we went to the strip to watch F1 races.
How did you view the races from the Strip? It seemed like all free viewing had been blocked off?
I did a cab/uber from LAS to the strip in 2023 (there was a healthy F1 surcharge). Last year I rented a car to avoid the madness and long wait times, plus it wasn’t much more expensive to rent a car than Ubers cost.bump
landing at the airport around 3 pm.
From prior experience can you get a ride share and how close can they get you to Elara?

They usually close down the roads for “hot track” status at 5 pm, so if you land and can get straight to an Uber they should be able to get you right to the Elara.
If arriving during a hot track time I would get dropped off at the Aria/City Center and then take the bridge across Harmon to the Cosmopolitan. You can then cross Las Vegas Blvd using the bridge then go through the Miracle Mile mall to get to Elara. My guess is this would be much cheaper than having to go the long way around and take the traffic bridge at Flamingo/Koval.
The attached pdf file shows the traffic flow plan from last year in purple during hot track times. It was much better than 2023 when they had two way traffic cycling though, but it is much less direct. I haven’t been sent any traffic information for this years F1.
Edited to add: it looks like they have posted the different transportation routes and the impacts for this year at the following site: pretty much the same as last year from what I can tell. https://lvgp-transportation-info-lvgp.hub.arcgis.com/pages/other_resources?ipid=promo-link-block1
i flew in for under 24 hours (prior engagement elsewhere) meeting Mrs and my sister and some friends. my sister is the F1 expert so she educated mrs letsgobobby and myself on all the finer points. we had dinner at Zaytinya at 6 then walked back to Elara just as the race started. We had two rooms and the 1 br junior suite plus on floor 56 had a birds eye view of the entire grandstand area. I posted a photo in the balcony thread. After action report! How was it?
I was at Elara at the end of October just before the pool closed, when HGV grandstand construction was in full swing.

Regarding getting to the strip, I did walk/run from the airport. Unfortunately they closed off Harmon at Koval so after getting so close to Elara I had to run all the way back to Paradise then Trop then the strip, approximately doubling my route from 2.7 to just under 5 miles. but it was perfectly fine and there was plenty of buzz and activity to keep me entertained.
