Hey that was close to our unit we got. Post #663. I think a floor or two higher. You must be VIP.
Yeah VIP baby!!!!

No, I requested 2603/4 a couple weeks ago, they gave us 2506….I’ll take it.

Also 60K OU offered….i didn’t ask for more, but just declined. Gotta be at least 100K for me to nibble.

That lady at OO is stingy. Like she takes it personal. Just play them off against Myrtle Beach HGV. I got them to give us 100k after negotiating with MB who finally offered us 100k and that stingy lady jumped right in and offered to match it and told us we could tour at both. We did. Toured on Tuesday am when we checked out of OO and then checked-in at OE and toured the next day there. You are a VIP @Reddart ... just negotiate.

I made it in from Houston before “snowmageddon” hit - the pic was taken at 7:15pm Sunday.

On another note - the one of the 2 Josh Cab was empty 3x when I went up to refill my glass. I utilized the 2nd bottle 2x on the 3rd run to the enomatic machine - the 1st bottle of Josh Cab was empty and the 2nd was only dispensing a tasting. So I took 3 tasting. When the lounge valet was getting ready to close, she came around and told each table if they wanted more - “now is the time”. I waited 3 minutes and went back up to refill my wine glass with the Cab - BOTH were now empty! I think… a strongly worded letter is well-deserved! LOL

Here’s a pic of “Snowmageddon” from the balcony of unit 1804 at The Quin.

I’ll be here until 3pm - then off to the airport! Which 1/2 priced room did you get?

1804 terrace and the streets this morning!

One night in an STD upgraded to an STP, but will ask for a nicer one if they can support, then in 1901 for the weekend.

Looking forward to the lovely weather up there for a stroll through Central Park!

Mrs Eric B of course would want to stroll through Central Park! The snow is melting off the sides of the buildings fast! The terrace not so much! I could build a snowman - even a family of them with the amount of snow on the balcony.

I had 2 events cancel: 54Below last night and Tom Colicchio’s Craft tonight.

I love visiting the snow and this is probably my first major snow in NYC - it lasted just 25 hours and everything about it was “magical”

I do not live in an area which has an annual snow fall, in fact I never have. I know just from the week I was in lock down in Houston, I do not want to live in it! But… there is something pleasing about the white blanket of snow that soothes me and I enjoy it.

The terraces lights underneath the fallen show make this scene magical. If I post another view - it has to be able to top this one. I don’t think that’ll happen for the rest of the week - UNLESS, I build the snowman!

The demand pressure on the Josh Cab seems to have abated somewhat tonight. Not sure why….

Yeah…it snowed this morning. In March.
Hope it warms up for you & you have a nice & pleasant spring very soon...
Greetings from 90+ sunny PHX (yes, we broke records for 90s in Feb)... feels like a taste of summer, too soon for us...
Hope it cools down for us, as it warms up for you!

HC La Pacifica in Cabo. Ended up in different part of the building for two nights open season. Bigger balcony with a love seat. It faces Northeast so the noise from the highway is more intense especially trucks and their Jake brakes.

The Quin Studio Premier 1215. Much nicer view than the studio, but still not enough furniture to rearrange. We did get a microwave for making tea....

The Quin Studio Premier Plus 908. ADA Accessible room with a tub and a really low bed. Room was available early ~9:30, so we took it to switch from the prior one. Used OS credit from HGV Max for one night rather than blowing the bHC points on this one.

My 3rd favorite HGV/HVC place after MBV and ANY NYC property is Cabo Azul! Staying in a Grand Penthouse Oceanview. Room 1407! I requested 1607 Bldg 1 sixth floor. BUT… it’s better to be on the 4th floor! The entire bldg 1’s elevators are inoperative. The Bellman that brought our luggage to the room was huffing and puffing on their 3rd trip. I couldn’t imagine having to climb 6 flights of stairs! The 3rd floor of Bldg 2 has a bridge to Bldg 1 - so, we have found a fix to climbing 4 flights of stairs - but it requires excellent navigation skills! I’ve gotten lost 3 times trying to find the correct pathways!

As you can see the only thing blocking us are palm trees! The room feels - size-wise - the same as a regular 3 bedroom penthouse that we stayed in last year. No jacuzzi in 1407 - just the best view.

Are the 3BR Grand Penthouse Oceanview rooms only in building 1 or do you just prefer it to 7 or 8?

According to the Hilton Hotels & Resorts website the OV Penthouse, OV Grand Penthouse, and OF with hot tub are all 3,185 sqft. It also says the OF with hot tub is only in building 8 (well actually it says "Secluded above Javier's restaurant...").
