One of the last productions Jerry worked on for our local access television station was the video The M Lightship Over Las Vegas.
Jerry did the videography and also the editing of the piece. There were originally two versions, the short version (which was part of the weekly show "Anthem Alive") and a long version, which was for Showcase. This is the long version, at thirty minutes.
When you watch it, you can hit the little button on the lower right to make the picture full screen.
Dianne Davis is the reporter in the piece. She mainly does entertainment pieces but also some other pieces. Dianne and Jerry worked together quite a bit. In fact, he was her preferred videographer whenever she went out. Jerry met many Vegas performers while working with Dianne and another reporter named Marie. Dianne knew this was a dream of Jerry's, to go up in a lightship or a blimp (two different things). She made it happen, and made sure that Jerry would be the one to go with her. This was one of the last pieces he did.
Hope you enjoy it. Jerry did, and so did I, all 852 times I saw it while he was doing the editing
I still enjoy it.
