I know Vida Vacations now has two timeshare resorts in Puerto Penasco (the Mayan Palace and the Grand Mayan). When I attended an upgrade presentation in April 2010 I was told the property will include a Grand Bliss. Does anybody know if construction has begun on Grand Bliss or Grand Luxxe resort buildings? Does anybody know if plans have been finalized for additional restaurants on-property in Puerto Penasco? Lastly, does anybody know if Hakkasan or Cirque du Soleil will be opening entertainment facilities at Vidanta in Puerto Penasco?
It took 10+ years to finally get the Grand Mayan done, so with all the attention to NV and RM and Cape outside of CAbo, I think PP is still on the back burner. Maybe if and when they get the cruise ship port done in PP
AND airlines actually fly into the airport that Mayan Palace built in 2007, they could get people to come and stay. Until then, it is just a great mid-April to mid-October place for those of us who can drive there within 4 hours.

- Bliss...... No known plans for a Bliss Resort.
- Mayan Palace...... Open and operating.
- Sea Garden...... None planned to our knowledge.
- Peninsula de Cortes Course...... Open 18 holes, par 72, 7,210 yard course.
- Mayan Island Real Estate...... Open to sell real estate.
