It has been 11 yrs since we last used our Vidanta timeshare. Can anyone tell me how to find out information on my account without calling them. Is there an online section for owners?

Thanks,

Not than I am not aware of. Just call in to the 1-800 AWAY-I-GO number and do not choose Reservations - then it will go to just Member Services.

You surely have your original paperwork or at least the most recent Maintenance Fee bill. Both will have your Account Number.

Thanks,

1) No online owner booking access **.

2) You can call the toll free number 800 292 9446 - the customer service person may be able to help you
or you can ask for Member Services .

3) Have you been sent annual statements . This should list your member number .

********

(** ) - due the many variations of Vidanta brands & contracts and MF/ usage cost per week.

We do not pay MF unless we use the week which is a good thing. Thanks for the information.

HI sf49fanv,
I see from a prior post / old thread
that you own Grand Bliss upgraded from Grand Mayan in about 2009 .

If you can find you GB contract upgrade - it could be Vidanta’s “newer “ contracts that have a 10 year renewal payment needed to keep active . Because your upgrade was in 2009 - it is also possible it remains an older 25 year until renewal contract . Those had a reno fee (2nd MF ) every 5 years .

My guess is that sales told you that by upgrading , you would avoid all the reno fees & that you therefore have a very early 10 year contract .

If it is a 10 year contract & you wish to keep it - you will likely need to speak to Member Services.
If you prefer to let it go - also speak to Member Services. They would likely email you a form to sign that would acknowledge this and give you peace of mind that no further payment is necessary .

Enjoy watching the Super Bowl .

Tom is correct. Find that contract and call in. My paperwork for GL says that the Renewal fee is due within 3 months of the 1st 10 year anniversary year. I am not sure about the renewal fees for any but mine. These could have changed over the years. I do know that if you did the upgrade in 2009, your renewal is due no later than March 31, 2020 per my contract.. I am not sure that they send something about a renewal - I have read that they do not, they did always send the 5 year Renovation bills when they were due.

pittle, I am confused by the statement I hi-lited. Why would renewal be due in just 3 months? When I did my upgrade it restarted the 10 year clock. The new contract replaced the previous contract. Based upon my experience the next renewal would be due March 31, 2029.

Oops - I meant 2009 (what T-Dot said). I fixed it. They said they had not done anything in 11 years, so they need to check ASAP. Thanks for catching that. (I fixed it.)
