May God Bless all who serve and have served our country! Below is my granddaughter wearing her deployed daddy's jacket.

The Old Guard.

Click here for U-Tube video of The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.

Note: There's an annoying 30-second commercial before the Old Guard scenes begin.

What a beautiful little girl and sweet picture!! Thanks for sharing.

I'll bet many other TUGGers besides my husband and I are Veterans or have family/friends who are serving or have served...

Went to three ceremonies today.

I've had a grandpa in WW1, a grandpa in WWII, two uncles in WWII, cousins in Korea, an uncle and cousins in Vietnam, cousins in Gulf War, nephew two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. These are just the ones I know of. Fortunately they all came home safely. Thank you to our armed forces for all that you do.

All,

I'm sorry to be day late with this -- thank you to all of our Veterans, your service to our country is profoundly appreciated. I pray that our brave soliders come home soon, safely to their families.

And with extra gratitude to our beloved WW II veterans.....

If you have a few minutes, please look back on Pointe du Hoc:
