Last night I put a hold an a 2 bedroom at Camaron Cove Resort in Indian Rivers Beach Fl. for our June vacation. This morning I got a match to my ongoing search for a 2 bedroom at Disney's Vero Beach. Which one would you all recommend for my kiddos that are 17 and 13 years old?

Thanks so much and hope everyone is having a wonderful xmas day :)

Never stayed at Vero Beach or in that area but have stayed at Cameron Cove. Mom and Pop type resort, I did a review. Nice big units. The pool is your basic, well, pool. Gulf front, which is nice. No equipment rentals on site.

It's a pretty quiet area unless you're going to be driving to Busch Gardens, etc. We took my kids to Marco Island one year when they were about that age and frankly, they hated it. Cameron Cove is a little closer to things to do but it wouldn't be my first pick with teenagers.

But I can't do a direct comparison as I haven't stayed in the Vero Beach area.

Thank you for the info on Cameron Cove.. sounds like it's too quiet for my kiddos.

I prefer the beach at Cameron Cove but Disney knows how to do it right. I'd have trouble deciding between the two as well.

If your kids would participate in the Disney activities and aren't the sort to hang out on the beach, I'd go with Disney. If all of you enjoy relaxing on the beach and in the ocean, Cameron Cove would win.

My 17yo hates the beach, so he would hang out in the room most of the time at either resort.

I think they'll enjoy the Disney resort.

Lots of activities by the pool, they can rent jet skis and take an archery class among many other activities. The resort is beautiful. The beach is ehh, but the rest of the resort makes up for the beach.

There's also a character breakfast on the weekends. I took my teenage niece and nephew and they got a kick out of Goofy & Donald and their antics at our table. Also gave me a photo op to embarass them on facebook. ;)
