VERIZON Cells Network DOWN

We have loss VERIZON Cell telephone services in parts of Portsmouth, Suffolk & Chesapeake, Virginia since noon today.
Does any other states or Tuggers have this problem?

Myrtle beach people lost it also but it’s back up for them
 
Some people near me in NJ were complaining about lack of service. I have Verizon FIOS home internet and it seems to work fine. My phone is also verizon and seems to have bars.
 
My sister in Atlanta didn't get service back.

** Update, she has service now.

Saw a map of the US earlier today and lots of areas had trouble w/Verizon today. Wonder what is going on...
 
Still down for me in Charleston, SC
 
friend reported it being down all day today in jax...and the crazy part is that he has the verizon wifi internet...which worked fine the entire time!
 
So sad. Verizon used to be a great wireless provider. Frankly they now suck.
I was prompted to switch after that started nitpicking me with fee's.
With TMobile now and have never looked back.
