My kids all swear by Venmo!

My kids swear by Zelle !

(but they are on the receiving end of money ;) )

Zelle fan here.

I've used Zelle, Venmo and PayPal. It's usually dictated by the receiver as I tend to be on the sending end! :(

Me too. But lately both my manicurist and various people who I do business with on my buy/sell group (pre covid) prefer venmo so I use that a lot. But I only link it to my mad money account that never has more than a few hundred bucks because I still don't completely trust anything.

I’ve used PayPal for many years but our credit union uses Zelle.

These articles don't pick the best of the litter. This one doesn't say anything:
"Deciding on the best P2P payment app for you ultimately comes down to what your family and friends are using..."

I've hired guides and transport in foreign countries via PayPal. Very convenient.

yes, - Zelle doesn't work if friends and family use particular credit unions

Paypal makes it really easy to send cash to relatives, and there's no charge. I just sent some to our son before I saw this thread.

I have not found one that allows me to buy worldmark points from an American owner without being charged a fee since I am a Canadian. That is what I am looking for. Etransfer works awesome for people with Canadian bank accounts.

Most consumer experts (Clark Howard) advise against Zell. Have used PayPal and Venmo for years.

I got a chuckle out of that one. Clark Howard will endorse anyone/anything that pays him. Apparently Zelle hasn't ponied up the bucks!
