I'm just about to buy here and all you tuggers who own what do I look out for. And is it as great as it was when I did the presentation.

We own here - bought two gold winter weeks on the resale market. We love it - especially like the fact that gold members can bank for five years or use five years ahead (by paying maintenance fees). Also gold members can book weeks at other UVC resorts before non-gold members. I just booked Villa del Arco (Cabo San Lucas) for November of 2010.

We bought our weeks on Ebay. We like Villa del Arco and Villa del Palmar in Cabo alot. We really didn't like the VDP in PV because of the big dirty city PV is but really enjoyed Flamingos.

Don't buy from the resort but go on line to Ebay or Tug classified. Buy at least a premiere winter membership so you can bank and split weeks. Gold membership has a higher MF with just a few perks that aren't worth the extra money to me any way. The newest memberships will be some sort of points system that will be used in Loreto and Cancun is the rumor I herd. The website www.myuvc.com has the older memberships news and the website www.villagroupresorts.com is the newer site.

Thanks for the advise about Ebay. It's kind of funny but I really like the one at PV just because of the city. Good thing we're all different. Makes us interesting

I also prefer that "big dirty city" to Cabo but it's a good thing we don't all like the same thing or it would get very crowded!

I meant we didn't like PV as much as Nuevo Vallarta or eithe as much as Cabo. My buddies are all buying VDP for chump change these days. The flexibility of this ownership really makes it work for us. You own one, you own all.
