Their fares seem to be quite a bit lower than the airline's web site. How can that be? Are they legit? Thanks for your insight.

We used them to book my DD's flights to New Zealand this summer. She had no problems going. Everything seems to be legit. They had the best prices we found to New Zealand

A Positive Experience With Vayama

Used Vayama for the first time to book my daughter's flight from Canada to Bangkok. When I entered the dates, Vayama came up with Air Canada and Cathay Pacific flights for nearly $700 less than what the travel agent quoted her. It also gave better connection times and showed a flight option that wasn't even available on the Air Canada site. We were very pleased. She's in Thailand now and had no problem whatsoever with her flight. Although Air Canada is supposed to be going on strike in two days, so her return trip could be interesting! I would recommend Vayama and it will be one of the sites I will use in the future to search for flights.

They are a good company and can be less expensive than the airlines web site. On a trip to New Zealand and Australia I found them to be $100 less, but they do not confirm seat selection at time of reservation. For this reason we went with the airline since we wanted to select our seats.

I find that when I go to select a flight (using Kayak) at Vayama, it regularly says this fare is not available now. I do not understand then why Kayak shows it. It sure disappoints and annoys me. Not sure who I should be disappointed with - Kayak for teasing me with it or Vayama for not having it available.

my son used to work for Vayama - they are reputable company. Airline fares, however, are fluid and what you see one minute may well not be available the next.
