@Dori, thank you so much, to get a week in April on the foreclosure list on the gulfside is like hitting the lottery at this timeshare... I really enjoy this timeshare the most out of all that I own... I was surprised my hubby was all gung ho for me to purchase this....it will go nicely with my Marco Island TS, that is flexible with the times I can use it...

I think that is the week my son always has off. Wish I could book that week to enjoy with my son’s family but daughter in law on different school calendar as she is getting phd

@heathpack, I love this resort, because its right on the Gulf of Mexico in North Naples. Each unit is two bedrooms, very spacious and all units have a washer and dryer in them... I love this place because its in my favorite town in Florida and it near all of my friends and relatives that live and or retired to FL. So for me its a slice of heaven....

@rapmarks, just seeing this, I had to work 12 hours yesterday due to the UAW strike. They have a Cheesecake Factory in Novi, close to my condo but its always like a 2-hour wait. It sounds like the mall is filling up again with more places, I'm so happy to hear that...

@kestratford, the foreclosure list is available at the office and you can contact the sales office on site at Vanderbilt Beach and Harbor Club.
 
Just closed on another two units at Vanderbilt Beach and Harbor Club, week 48 and week 51. I will probably rent these out till I retire in a few years. I will now have weeks 48 thru 51 + My week 16 in April.
 
And when is the week at cocoa beach?

Also, I am one year clear and back to golf, bocce, and other bad habits

Hi @rapmarks, I'm so glad you are doing great and back to gulf and other fun stuff. My week at The Resort at Cocoa Beach is a floating week, so next year I will use it on the way back home at the end of my weeks in April in Naples, so we will drive 4 hours to Cocoa Beach from Naples and stay a week and then drive back to Michigan. I love that that week is a floater as it will accommodate me for either my December or April weeks.

I hope when I'm back in April, we can get together, when we were in town in December the whole family got bronchitis, and RSV. We finally got better the last few days of the trip and then flew back home and hubby and I got sick again...UGH...I was bummed that I could not see you then but I did not want to see any friends or family while we were all so sick...

I realized I never answered this... From Ian in 2022, it was closed from September of 2022 till late December of 2022. Our TS / Condo was the first condo on Gulf Shore Drive to reopen after Ian. Another timeshare that is much smaller on that same street did not reopen till early 2025.

For Milton and Helene Hurricanes - they were only closed for about 3 weeks - with it being back to back hurricanes.

The weather folks have stated that this year is supposed to be another bad hurricane year, so I'm really hoping that Naples is spared so we can pump up our reserves.
