I just read on the News Letter from Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort that the valet parking is now $12.00 a day, with no exceptions for exchangers. They even said you can self park but are still responsible for the $12.00 fee. What a rip off!

I just read on the News Letter from Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort that the valet parking is now $12.00 a day, with no exceptions for exchangers. They even said you can self park but are still responsible for the $12.00 fee. What a rip off!
I'm wondering if this is the way of the future for HOA's to control ever increasing MF's. Essentially they'll start charging everyone for all the little extra's that use to be included in a reasonable MF.
I believe this is a DRI resort. DRI has given owners some heafty MF increases over the last couple of years. $12/day would equate to a savings of $84/week for owners who exchange their weeks to a resort that doesn't have this fee.
It was for this very reason that we declined an exchange into this resort. It really ticked me off!
