Hi Tuggers,
I have been a timeshare owner since 1981. We just got back from Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Last minute exchange for only 6 points thru RCI.
While we were there, we went on "Not a timeshare" presentation of Vacation Village Voyages. I wore my TUG T-shirt and we listened politely to the speel and watched a short video of Jane Seymore and how wonderful her vacations are now that she is a part of Vacation Village Voyages. Since we own enough timeshares already we told the salesman we were not interested. Long story I now will get to the point. Do any of you know about or are part of this program? If so, how do you like it? Was I wise to walk away with my gift card? Any info pro or con is apprieciated.
Thanks!
TerryC

Yea u wasted salesperson time and 4 hours of users for 50 bucks how Doug feel

You should simply let your manager know that from now on, you will only do presentations with people who come to the meeting intending to buy! :D

It is a vacation club. Period. You did fine in walking away. But the 19th floor ocean views are decent. THEY DO NOT OWN THAT BUILDING.

They buy foreclosed weeks/units from the various HOAs, have run the "convert to RCI points" program and the staff is JUST like timeshare commissioned salespersons.

You did good in walking away.
