I have signed up with Vacation Village Voyages but am still in my recind period. Does anybody know anything about this program and should I recind?

General consensus on this board is; if you purchased from the developer (not a re-sale) and didn't do 6months to 1yr of research you should recind immediatly (follow directions to the T...).

Then do your 6months+ research and figure out what will work best for you.

Good luck and welcome to this awesome board.

Edit - Just noticed you already own other timeshares, seeing this was your first post I assumed you were a timeshare newb, if you are looking for actual info about Vacation Village Voyages, maybe someone else could provide some more info?

I have about 15 people who I have "saved" from that vacation club ...

RESCIND. Worry about the reasons later before you beat yourself up over the $4,000-10,000 that they got you for.

Did they PROMISE to book you at Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort during February and March? Just call 90-60-30 days before checkin, and you will have that oceanview unit for just $300 for the week. No problem ... HA!

Just ask the owners who roast there every winter for 4-8 weeks solid if they or the HOA lets VVV get units like that for 1/3 of the MFs? Or 1/8 of the rack rate for off the street rentals?

Oh, did you understand that this is a VACATION CLUB, not deeded timeshare property. One lawyer for a bankrupcty filing would have all the monies collected gone.

They have access to last minute rentals off RCI and other sources of not sold developer inventory. And they contract out to searchers for unbooked private inventory. In the bad economy, their pitch is why own when you can get it thru us for less than 1/3 of the yearly MFs?
Bad business plan:
1). people or resorts taking 1/3 of the costs of operations most likely won't be in business next year or will be a roach-condo type place.:wall:
2).In a good economy, there will be NO CHEAP inventory until just after the hurricane is named.:hysterical:
