Vacation Village in the Berkshires pet policy

Are there any owners at VV Berkshires here? I see that now you must be an owner to bring your pet. My question: If I rent from an owner, can I bring my pet? (I'm thinking probably not.)
 
Berkshire Mountain Lodge allows pets. It’s in the same area
 
I am a Massanutten (VV Affiliate) owner. I Exchanged via RCI and did not have any issue over the summer. I am guessing that it is done to discourage non-owners from booking prime July-August weeks. There is usually plenty of availability the other months, so would call the Resort Reservations line in advance to inquire on the weeks wanted.

Thanks, which place? VV in the Berkshires says as of 2023, pets for owners only.
 
Massanutten is no longer listed as a VV affiliate.
