Vacation Village at Parkway Rental

official email from Vacation Village regarding the new "rental pool" (thank you to the TUGGER who forwarded it)

Thank you for your inquiry. With this new rental program process, it is now a rental pool the owners weeks are submitted to. Your week, for example, falls in the month of December. Therefore, you were placed in the rental pool amongst other owners who submitted a rental agreement and owned a week in the month of December. Where owners were previously paid out a set amount, regardless of how many nights were rented, the rental payout amount is now distributed to the owners amongst that months rental pool. With the number of owners who submit a rental agreement for the month of December, we would estimate that this amount will most likely remain the figure in the future, but there are no guarantees. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The fact that Vacatia is involved in all of this is not good. I’ve been dealing with them for about three years and having to deal with them delaying my request to deposit my week with RCI and you have to keep on top of them. I recently decided that I’m having nothing to do with Vacation Village at Parkway or the other Timeshare I own in Fort Lauderdale. In reviewing boat, resource financial statements, roughly 30% of owners do not pay their maintenance, simply because they’re tired of having to deal with stupid.Good luck with dealing with them. And finally, I’m checking RCI for 2027 my usual venues in South Florida in Weston shows absolutely no inventory, all thanks to Vacatia not processing deposit request with RCI.
Did you happen to notice in the VV budgets that for several years now there has been an $18 billion uncollected debt line?

Hi, just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue, we rented our unit out July 2025 ( Vacatia took over vacation village at parkway) just today received the rental check from them in the amount of $250. never had this small amount before was always at least $900. Can’t get anyone to answer phone only an AI voice saying a real person can’t come to the phone at this time try again tomorrow!! I can’t believe the unit rented out for only $400 & after their commission we got $250. What’s happening!! Has anyone else experienced this?? Thanks for listening
I own a two‑bedroom unit at the Grandview Las Vegas,. I rented my week through the Grandview/Vacation Village program and got no notice at all if my unit rented or didn't rent. Then out of nowhere, I received a check for $250.00

And here’s the part that sounds strange should and should concern everyone:

Every owner is getting the same $250.00, no matter what size unit they have or what week they own.

I checked the Grandview website as a non‑owner, and the same two‑bedroom week rents to the public for over $2,000..00, That’s straight from Grandview website.

So how does a $2,000.00 rental turn into only $250.00 for the owner? When I rent a timeshear through RCI, it cost more than $250.00

Ever since Vacation Village sold the program to Vacatia, the complaints have exploded .low payouts, no communication (that's another story) and owners are saying the property is starting to decline. And the worst part is this:

Owners are trapped. Timeshares are almost impossible to sell, and many people can’t even give them away. Vacatia knows this., they know most owners can’t walk away without consequences . and it feels like they’re taking advantage of that.

Owners deserve transparency. Something is not right here. Vacatia is for there own profit not about the owners.

It would seem the vast majority of the weeks put into the system do not rent at all. Perhaps only one out of four actually rent for the full week. That means about $500 in revenue, but then Vacatia gets their cut.

There are often RCI extra vacations going for around 400. Just about every week
