I saw some of the VI contracts for sale out there with near term expiration dates. Just curious to know for example if I get one with an expiration of 2025, when will be the last time I receive points and have to pay MF? in 2024? 2025? and when will that last batch of points expire? Thanks!
 
If the RTU expires June 30, 2025 the last MF will be July 2024. The points for July 1,2024 to June 30, 2025 would be available for use from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2027. (Borrow 1 year ahead, use year, bank two years - all automatic).

Thank you for the information, now I understand how the 4 years are counted. Seems like it might be a good way to try it out with such a short term contract.
 
I have been a member of Vacation Internationale for 30 years now and don't travel as much as I used to. Currently I have a vacation for checking into the Marina Inn in San Diego (which is a VI unit) on December 31st 2023 and checking out on January 6th 2024. I've never exchanged or rented out before so this is all new to me but if you're interested give me a call at 717-925-7890.

Where do u find the contracts for sale? I own VI wouldn't mind buying more points

There is a buy and sell VI facebook page where people are selling memberships or points. I've never used the facebook group. Other than the fb group, ebay occasionally has VI. That's where I bought both of ours.
