Upgrade Royal Vista 2BR vs 2 BR Deluxe

I got Upgraded to a 2 BR, but NO Deluxe in the name. Am I to assume that these are the point saver units that face the road and not the water. Does someone know?

If that is the case I should dump the upgrade and just book a straight up 1 Br D again.

My understanding is the 2BR standard units will have city view, and all the 1BR Deluxe units should be very nice corner units with wrap around balconies. I stayed in one nice room (9004) and they are VERY nice rooms with nice views, spacious and 2 bathrooms which is pretty rare for a 1BR unit.

Note there are some 1BR standard units there too that have city view. Some 2BR Deluxe units also have city or obstructed views.

The 1BR Rooms you want end in xx03 and xx04 if I remember right. They are right next to each other on the end of the main building.

Keep the 1BR Deluxe and request a room ending in 03 (faces North) or 04 (faces South). I think you are VIP and should be able to do this.

The 03 is the better of the two, because the lower floors 04 rooms have a partial obstruction becauae of the other building that has just ocean front 2BR units. If you get a room 8th floor or higher that wont matter, and regardless, you have a straight out unobstructed view.

I went back and looked and it was 9904 and 6604 I had stayed in there. Both 1BR Deluxe corner units with wrap around balconies and two bathrooms. My mistake.
