According to the latest issue of Club Traveler that came today a new website will be coming this fall which "will be a brand new online experience".

Could this be the end of revolution?

Ahhh, the "New Revolution"...

From "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who
The change, it had to come
We knew it all along...

Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again...

I doubt it. The costs to create it were probably capitalized and it isn't written off yet. If it happens, you can bet it will get rid of "Classic", the one that works well. Timing for implementation is perfect as well, just before the annual year end debacle of point saving, MF payments, and performance / overload / crashing issues.

I think there is a move afoot in the internet world to finally get rid of Flash.

Hmm, you might be right.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...rowsers-following-critical-security-flaw.html

A lot of web sites "require" Flash, but if the browsers don't support Flash, that could be a problem. I've had problems over the years with my iPad on some web sites, because it does not support Flash.

Ron, I clicked on your link, and it made me LOL. Titled "Google and Mozilla pull the plug on Adobe Flash", I got the little prompt that I'm seeing very frequenly lately: "Firefox has prevented the outdated plugin 'Adobe Flash' from running on www.dailymail.co.uk".

The irony of having that news story use flash, resulting in the above prompt, was too much for me. I was literally laughing out loud.

Thanks for the link. And for the laugh.

Unfortunately, this is only a recent move. If they have been working on developing this new system for a while, (which I hope), they may still be planning on using "Flash" technology. There are a ton of websites still using Flash, and probably will be for a while yet, regardless of Firefox and Chrome's stance. While Flash causes many of the slow response and crashes, it isn't only Flash that's the problem with Revolution. The data it displays is inconsistent sometimes not updated, and a bunch of the HGVC resorts and affiliates are not listed there either. I hope they plan on fixing all those problems as well.

Beware! This morning, I try to sign on to HGVCLUB.COM and am immediately re-directed to http://offers.hiltongrandvacations.com/pass/ and asked for my userID, and told that new users password is "Password". After Hilton was hacked and userID and passwords were stolen, I don't think putting in userID/Password on this screen is a prudent thing to do.
You would think if it was real that HGVC would say something on the signon page and not redesigned the entire layout. The title is Partner Access Secure System. I tried using a fake userID and Password and it gave me an error that the web.cfg file says errors cannot be viewed remotely.... It looked phoney to me.
Five minutes later, it went back to normal, but won't sign on.
Update. 45 minutes later, it signed on and looks normal again.

Sound like you got spoofed. But I just signed-on with no issues.

New Website: They'll likely just rearrange the deck-chairs to make navigating more "intuitive."
That's the popular thing these days.

I think it's funny that in the upper left hand corner of my screen it states "Firefox has prevented the outdated plugin 'Adobe Flash' from running on tugbbs.com" :hysterical:

But sure wish that I could get rid of those pop-up ads on my Tug screen. :crash:

Oh well, time to check out HGVC.com. :ponder:
