We are heading to Cypress Harbour in early April and would like to go to the Universal parks. Does anyone know where the best discount is available for these theme park tickets? I know that Interval offers discounted tickets but wasn't sure if they were available at Cypress Harbour, or another website, for less.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks!
Theresa

We were there two years ago and the best package of tickets that we could find were direct from the Universal Orlando web site. I belive they had a 7 day park pass for about $89.

We were at a travel show in Boston yesterday and Universal was there. Someone asked how to get the best price and AAA was the answer.

If you have AARP, that may be a better, unadvertised price - it doesn't hurt to ask. Many years ago we went to Busch Gardens with my parents and my father was able to buy tickets for all of us with his AARP discount.

One thing I would recommend for Universal is their Express Pass. It costs $75 plus admission-it can be purchased separately. It allows one to skip the main line and get in a shorter line. We did this New Year's week. Our longest wait 10 mins-no exaggeration. The Spiderman wait was 90 mins for the regular line. Expensive, but worth it.

Right now they are running a special of buy one day get one free.

It depends on how many days you think you would want to spend there.

Just came back from there. We bought our tix on the Universal website. It was about $89 for a full 7 day usage with a 2 day advance online purchase. The price for the Express Plus pass depends on the day you're going and you have to specify the specific dates you want the pass for (I guess because they have a limited number available). For us, it was about $25/day pp. Note the EP pass only allows one trip through the express line; if you want unlimited, you need the VIP pass which is much more. Parking is $12 for regular; you can do preferred or valet as well.

I would recommend doing at least two days at the parks if possible. We spent 4-5 hrs each day, but we took our time getting there and the parks closed at 6 pm, so it would have been tough to cram it into one day. That was plenty of time to relax and get around to everything we wanted to see. We also don't have kids, which can slow the process down.

The Simpsons ride is fantastic - just be careful if you get motion sick from simulator rides, because it's one of the best out there. Also I learned (after the fact) that on the Men in Black ride, you can shoot other cars with riders to make them spin and if you hit the red button at the right time (end of the ride with the big alien), you get mucho bonus points. We also had a great time on the water blasters by the Bilge Rat Barges ride; must have pumped about $40 worth of quarters into those things. :)
