I grew up with my dad being a Bourbon drinker (along with Gin for Martinis) and he drank Jack Daniels Black Label. When I went to college, I would get the same. My roommate was over 21, so access was not an issue.

When I was a senior, I attended a party that was thrown by one of my professors to celebrate our upcoming graduation. The bar was limited and the best that I could find was Scotch. I developed a taste for it and it is now my preferred spirit. I like it neat or with a single ice cube if it is Single Malt Cask Strength. Preferred drink is The Balvenie Double Wood.

Too bad, now it is just a memory as I have been dry for coming up on a year due to dieting.
