Down at midnight, about 15 minutes later started to awaken, went part way through almost a dozen reservation attempts until one finally went all the way through to completion just after 12:30.

We were able to make a reservation last night at 7:09 pm HST.
I actually gave up around 7:05PM, drove my family to dinner, and started trying again at the restaurant around 7:15.
Dinner was lovely (I can't recommend Kauai Thai Bistro highly enough), but the first 15 minutes there were rather stressful as my attempts to make a reservation kept failing at different points in the process.
