I would like to go there next summer,09. I see that there is only one timeshare. A couple of questions. Is it as nice as I have heard? Also, I will probably have to rent instead of exchange. Where would I find a place to rent there? I hear Timeshares Only advertise all the time. Are they ok?

Rather than get involved with the likes of parasitic outfits like Timeshares Only, I'd recommend instead (or at least first) doing a geographic-based search for rentals in ads on on TUG, RedWeek, MyResortNetwork, etc. If you can find an acceptable week on your own, you'll likely pay far less money renting directly from an owner. Also, renting directly from an owner, you won't be violating the zoo policy...."Please don't feed the animals".

I have not stayed at Tybrisa and it looked a bit "tired" from the outside when I last passed by, but the location is certainly wonderful. You have the "beach" right there and yet you are just minutes away from everything Savannah has to offer (and that's certainly plenty). Good luck.

We haven't seen the inside, but the outside didn't look so great. Still, the location is great and I would consider it.

When I was living in the US, I kept an eye out for it, using my tiger trader, but only once or twice saw a summer week, and then when I could not use it.

I'm an owner there, though I haven't seen the resort yet. I understand they've been doing some rehab work. I also understand the location can't be beat. I've always pictured it as your average beach resort in a great location. Hope I finally get to visit in 2010 and find out.

The resort rents time there, but even as an owner the rates were too rich for my blood when I tried to get a few days for my daughter. Can't recall the exact amount.
