By chance could we track the source of how people are finding TUG during registration - perhaps with a "How did you hear about TUG?" drop-down list that includes:
Friend (referral)
Facebook Group
Facebook Search
Internet Search (Google/Yahoo/Bing)
TUG Website
Just brainstorming here - thinking if we could capture this during registration - it might permit us to better target how people find TUG - and improve our chances of finding new timeshare purchasers sooner and improving their chances of rescission before the cool off period ends for example.
Depending on how fancy we want to get - we could provide a secondary input field based upon the initial selection chosen above - such as if the registrant picks Facebook Group - pop-up an additional input field that asks for the name of the Facebook Group - or if Internet Search is chosen - ask for the search criteria. Again, just brainstorming.

we do ask this for folks who join as members, but its extremely rare that we get a useful response there although it is a free form box vs a drop down menu etc.

Ah ok - I took a quick look at the initial "Register" screen and didn't see it there - but not the membership join screen. Makes sense. My thought was if we could provide a drop-down where new members have to input something, and we start to see a pattern for certain selections, then we can focus in on how to promote TUG memberships coming from those specific selections, such as better advertising on Facebook or looking at how we can have TUG appear more prevalently for certain internet search criteria based on how people are finding us. For example, if we see certain Facebook Groups prevalently being named - we can perhaps post links to the TUG Facebook page into those groups (perhaps after seeking permission from the group admins) on a periodic basis or something.
Congratulations the new goal is 120,000 by December 2023.

120, 000 is still a good goal by 2024.
