I saw the thread about the banner...I think thats pretty darn cool. I was actually thinking about getting a TUG T-Shirt made to wear when we go to different resorts. I seldom do a timeshare tour but think that having the TUG logo proudly displayed would save many the hassle of even being asked to attend. Can someone email me the logo so I can get my T-shirt made?

Awesome

Thank you all for the speedy replies! Has anyone had luck getting the sales people to leave them alone while wearing TUG merchandise?

Logo has been simplified, eh? I still have my old TUG shirt with the palm tree logo! And who knew there was a wall clock?!

You are assuming that sales people will know what TUG means and I would wager that most will not know, never heard of it.

I wasn't wearing any TUG swag, but at a presentation in Mexico recently, as soon as I mentioned TUG, the sales weasel had someplace to go and a gifter showed up at our table to make out the vouchers. Believe me, they know us.

im pretty sure you can select any of the logos, with any of the items cafepress sells....but TBH im not sure =)

note we dont really have anything to do with that cafepress site, my dad provided the original logos, I uploaded the new ones we created a few years back...but we dont make anything off the sales...the "profit" line is set at 0 so its the cheapest for you guys to buy!

I know this wouldn't happen at most places, but in our case the sales people TOLD US about TUG! They were telling us about how we could sell at any time through them or on our own, rent, and so forth, and said TUG was one good site to use. They also mentioned their TUG ratings/reviews in some of their handouts.

Deb, I still have mine as well. I've had it for years, and still wear it as a pool cover-up when we are at timeshares. I can't tell you how many people have asked me about it.

At one of the hotel-based resorts the salesman saw the shirt (the old one with the palm tree) and said we should just have breakfast and sit around and talk until the time was up and he could give us our gift. He didn't even want to take us on a tour and was very nice about it. At another one of the big resorts the guy sat around and talked about who we both knew at my home resort. At our most recent tour, the saleswoman hadn't a clue (or so she said). My latest reply to blow off the offers of a tour when we check in is "I'm in the business". They usually immediately back off.
