HopHop4 was kind enough to invite us to party at Piney Shores Resort at Lake Conroe, Texas, on Saturday, April 09, 2011. There were about eight or nine Tuggers at the party, most of whom were also staying at the resort. This was a great party. We all had timesharing and a love of travel in common. We did not discuss religion or politics. Everyone brought delicious food. The weather was perfect. My camera is currently defunct, but there were other cameras available. However, I did bring my TUG banner for a group photograph.
The Piney Shores resort is enormous. There is an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. There were children horseback riding, playing miniature golf, tennis, and doing supervised archery. There was a beach and water sports activies present as well. We were too busy partying to join in any of those activities but they were very visible as their parents kept an eye on them while we engaged in our own party.
This is the first time we attended a TUGGER party and my wife and I had the pleasure of meeting some very nice people whom we hope to see again in the near future. Check out the group photo posted by Happpytravels in follow the TUG Banner.
