TUG 2026 Orlando Get Together Wednesday, January 21, at 3pm

We leave just days before.
 
To everyone please try to enjoy your time at the GC. Wishing all Tugger a Happy New Year.
 
Unfortunately, we just came back from Orlando, otherwise we would love to attend this or any other meeting of TUGGERS. We always go to that Golden Corral when we are in Orlando (Sheraton Vistana). What is the best way to keep informed about upcoming get-togethers?

The annual get together should always be the Wednesday of the Martin Luther King Jr holiday week in January. We've kinda decided that date makes the most sense for consistency. A thread should be started in this forum also. I've also started to gether the names and email addresses of attendees and sent out an email a month or so before the get together, but that may not be enough advance notice for most people. Just plan for that same Wednesday every year at the Golden Corral.

Rental car (minivan) is reserved (& paid for) -- Turo once again.

May I suggest that Jeremy dresses up like Maxwell Smart and uses the Cones of Silence for any TUG member who starts discussing Silver, Gold, Windmills, or EVs....

The Chief Of Staff & I have name tags -- same ones, actually, as last year & the year before, some maybe even with participants' names still on the tags.

We'll bring those. (Waste not, want not.)

As at previous TUG Golden Corral pig-out meet-ups, when you go get seconds (or thirds, or dessert, etc.), maybe sit at a different table when you come back. That way you get more face time with more different TUG people.

flag football starts that week for beckett... where has the time gone...hes already 6! I have to make sure there is not a game that night as id not be able to make it back in time.

Darn it…at a family reunion that weekend in another state. Next time — we live about an hour’s drive away!

Looking for info on how best to get out of summer bay Orlando timeshare. Would attending this get together help me??
