Trying to make sure I don't lose points...

I just want to make sure that if I have points carried over from 2012, and I book something for this year, RCI will "use" my old points for the 2013 reservation, correct? I still have 29,000 points left from 2012 that I need to use, and am looking at a 4 day weekend this fall that will use most of them.

This is from my account page, so I'm assuming what I wrote above is accurate:
Current Use Year ...2013
2013 Annual Points Allocation ...51,000
Current Use Year Balance ...80,000

I think as long as you are booking something that is during your 2013 use year you will be ok and they will use the oldest points first.

RCI will use the 'oldest' points first.

Awesome, that's what I thought. I'm still gonna have about 7,000 points to use or lose.

RCI will use the oldest points that it can first. Lets say that the points expire before the actual start date of the vacation... then they cant use those points towards it unless you extend them.
