This morning I put holds on one bedroom units at both resorts for mid-November 2019. We have stayed in Cabo at Playa Grande for a week and Fiesta Americana for a week over the past three years. We know that staying at Medano Beach will be much more crowded and busier at the beach than our prior two weeks.

So how to choose? Its just us two "mature" aged adults. Both resorts appear to have 1 br - 2 bath units. Both have small partial kitchens. Both are a short walk to The Office restaurant (very important!).

Right now I'm leaning towards PB Los Cabos only because the view from the balcony would be closer to the beach. However, PB Rose has a slightly larger partial kitchen, and we will probably be eating breakfast and lunch in the room. I like the unit decor at Rose a little more, but it doesn't matter that much. The resort decor theme at Rose is Greco/Roman, which isn't really my thing.

Are there any major differences between these resorts?

The Blanco has more and better view rooms because the building is set up in a C shape facing the bay. It is white compared to pink. The rooms seem closer to the beach. Most of the people here when we visited were over 60.

The Rose is pink. The views from most of the rooms are not as good as the Blanco because the Rose is built in a U shape with the buildings tighter together. The Rose is kind of known as lgbt friendly and most of the people here when we visited were under 60.

The Rose has a better vibe and the Blanco has a better view.

Both resorts have hard beds because the box springs are concrete pedestals. This may have changed because of memory foam replacing regular mattresses.

We owned a two-bedroom at the Rose for many years and stayed there almost every year. We've also stayed at the Blanco next door. You can use the amenities of both resorts when staying at either one & you also have access to Sunset Beach via the free shuttle service. I think you'll be happy with either resort, although I believe the Blanco is a bit quieter around the pool area just because it's somewhat smaller than the Rose pool area. But, you can go back and forth between the two pools any way.

Thanks @Karen G!

We decided to go with PB Los Cabos / Blanco. We are looking forward to another great vacation in Cabo!
