I wanted to share something I found out that is unexpectedly positive about the Trump HGVC. I think 99% of owners do not know about this, so I think it's worth sharing! The Trump Las Vegas HGVC has soft water which has been so nice. I usually have to start putting on lotion and moisturizer when I get to Vegas because my skin starts to get so dry and cracked within 1 day of being here. This has not happened here! My skin still feels pretty much brand new like I am not in a desert. For anyone with somewhat sensitive skin, this alone could be a reason to want to stay here in the future. The water at Trump won't dry out your skin. That's my biggest gripe of Vegas is how it dries out my skin and makes me have to use so much lotion. I believe it's the only HGVC in Vegas that has soft water.

There are pros and cons to the Trump. The jacuzzi tubs don't work, but the place has soft water which is great for your skin. Vegas has the hardest water in the USA and is bad for your skin and will dry it out. I am surprised they don't advertise this as a selling point to stay here. That's why I wanted to post here and let everyone know so they can make up their own mind and choose what is best for them.

I don't recall the water feeling extra hard in Vegas, but our water is pretty hard at home, so I might not have noticed that. I have definitely noticed my skin drying out and having to go buy cream and Chapstick.

Glad your stay is getting better.

I doubt the property is softening the water for the entire property. That would be an unnecessary expense. I suspect it is just the water from the municipal supply, much of which comes from Lake Mead which is often filled from water treatment and snow melt. There wouldn't be a lot of dissolved minerals in that type of water.

Las Vegas has extremely hard water, so that is not it.
