Trying to help an owner from a few years ago.
Did a search and have printed out the info, and given to the person.
I don't have all the info, but gather the original timeshare was destroyed by a huricane some time back.
That owner still has the original deed, but stopped paying the maintenance fees, and to the best of my knowledge did not pay any assesment fees either.
Question, if she is still in posession of the deed, how could her unit/week be sold? Once the units were destroyed would that make the deed worthless?
If Huricane Dean stays at bay(no pun intended) she may be in the immediate area in a week or so, and may try and go check out the timeshare.
I'm also urging her to come on TUG with the details, so she'll get some guidance. She won't be able to for a couple of weeks.
So if anyone can give me some advice to pass on, I appreciate it.
TIA
