We are trying to decide where to go for our summer vacation in 2010 and thought about the Trapp Family Lodge. Who has stayed there and what are your opinions of the resort and would there be enough activities in the area to keep 3 teenage boys (19,18,& 16), busy for a week. My opinion from reading reviews says it's more of a laid back resort.

Thanks,
Jean

Activities??? All they need is teenage girls. They will make their own "activities".

That is funny. e.bram.

We first went to Trapp when my sons were in their early 20's. Their favorite things to do:

Swim in a swimmin' hole
Roller blade/bike on the bike path in town
Drive to the top of Mt. Mansfield on the toll road
Eat ice cream at Ben & Jerry's
Check out the stores on Church St. in Burlington
At that time there was a slide at Stowe Mtn resort. That has not been operating the last couple of years because of construction, but may reopen.
Play pool at the Rusty Nail.
