That being said what recourse do you have to compell him to complete the process ??

Truthfully, there is never any real recourse in situations like these. The amount of time and money spent to force the issue is unreasonable considering the ebay sales value of the unit.

I believe that morally the OP should complete but that is just my opinion. We will not be pursuing completion. We'll pick up the pieces, get it current and sell it again. That's realistically what has to happen.

By the way, I think some of you took my last post about the $85 in a different context. I was not trying to state that $85 would be an unreasonable settlement in most cases, just this case because the OP was not being forthright with his information in the string.
